IS "ANYONE" SERIOUS ABOUT THE RAILROAD STREET PROJECT?

The project to upgrade Railroad Street that was approved by the City Council and Mayor last Fall, and "re-endorsed" by the same group in the February council meeting apparently is dead in the water.

A meeting scheduled for the 19th between the Mayor, city attorney Mike Green, Better Hometown Director Don Kelemen, and some city council people never came off. Who will be blamed this time? The attorney? The Mayor? The Better Hometown Manager? The Council?

There seem to be problems with getting everybody together to hash this out. If they (whoever "they" are) will just contact the guy who resides at 118 Hartwell Street and agree on a time to come by, I think we can get this thing off dead center.

We need either to decide to do the project, or drop it. Git "R Done!!

This is just one concerned citizen, speaking for himself, and not as a member of any organization.

Will "anyone" rise to the challenge and stop pointing fingers?
